"Night of the Living Dead" - for many last night.

I can not remember how many times I came across the mention of this film on the Internet, in reviews of horror films and other attributes of a similar theme. And the film was mentioned purely from a positive country and was considered the progenitor of the horror genre, in which many horror films were shot in the future. The world was swept by a wave of bloodthirsty violence on the part of the dead, but at the same time loosely moving the half-minded people, eager to tear to pieces any man who came to them. A group of surviving people finds themselves in a secluded private home, where they try to rebuff the revived dead.

Perhaps, I expected a lot from this film, judging by the responses I recently stopped trusting, because the taste and color, as they say, there are no friends. So, expectations, as always, were overestimated. Sure, I'm making a discount to the movie. Firstly, it was one of the first in its genre, secondly, it was shot in the late sixties, thirdly, it was shot by almost one person who believed in his work, and it did not burn out. And for this it is worthy to respect this movie. I did not expect any powerful special effects and a terrible visual part from him, but I was waiting for a suspense, which in the picture is present in a very weak degree. The acting is not bad, everyone coped with their roles at the proper level, except for one nervous person who annoyed her behavior throughout the whole film. To the black-and-white film I approve of, the film did not lose anything from it. What kills in this film is the stupidity and illogic of the actions of almost all the characters, which always makes me very angry. "Parent" of which is "Night of the Living Dead", so this is the stupid and brainless behavior of the characters in the film. To give examples I'm just lazy, because their incredible amount. But again, a movie of this old age, although not quite the old one, these blemishes can be forgiven, but seeing it in modern horror is simply disgusting. The final scene just killed, although I expected exactly such an outcome.

I will definitely watch the continuation of this film, but in relation to the first part, I will remain in a neutral position for the above reasons. But to familiarize everyone with this picture is necessary, for personal motivation in order to respect George A. Romero.
