Not just a youth comedy
When I started to watch this film, I expected from him the same as from the majority of youth comedies - light, easy going, uplifting and slightly attracting interest. But, however, I was surprised by the real eccentricity that puts “Classmates” an order of magnitude higher than other similar comedies.
First, a delightful presentation of material, an interesting history of solving the seemingly banal problem of bankruptcy. The school of rebellion, the school of crime, and at the same time the school of kindness and true friendship - this is how one can characterize the school of art. Trinian. This is not the usual "typical" school with arrogant beauties, fans and cornered outcasts, no, this is something more, one big family, so different, but still friendly.
Secondly, I was pleased with the lack of a “typical” plot. After all, how does the action usually unfold in youth comedies? There was a girl-zauchka, then suddenly she went to a beauty salon and became a written beauty, from which all the guys were delighted. There is nothing like that that pleases. The plot is not tied at all on this, and this alone distinguishes this film from other similar ones.
I would also like to mention a good selection of music. The songs associated with this school are still occasionally heard in my headphones.
And finally, a great play of actors. They really believe. And you really start to think that this is not a film, that there really is somewhere such a school of Art. Trinian.
I recommend watching the film to everyone, especially adolescents with a bit of non-standard views of the world, tired of banal flat comedies with jokes and “vanilla-pink” films with a sugary and simple plot.
