I remember well the times when Riddick became a cult hero. This is the beginning of the two thousandth. It happened after the release of the film "The Chronicles of Riddick" - the second in the cycle. But even before “Chronicles ...” a picture called “Black Hole” was published, where the title role was also played by Vin Diesel.
And although I did not sunk into the soul of The Chronicles of Riddick, I decided to look at the Black Hole (of course, I did not see it before). And that's what I want to say!
I liked the “black hole”. Those who are most attached to the adventures of this bald hero, say that this is the most interesting of all parts of the whole trilogy. I can only confirm this. And by the way! A funny moment ... Riddick, after all, initially appears not at all bald. Not that curls, but ... not bald. The hero shaves in one of the scenes.
In general, it begins with the fact that the ship crashes somewhere in outer space and makes an emergency landing on a nearby planet. And everything would be as usual, but on board they transported one dangerous prisoner. Riddick. What, how, why and why - it does not matter. It is important that Riddick is very cool. And, it would seem, the horror of so many films about such films has been revealed, but then everything will go differently.
From now on, Riddick becomes an ally of the escorts. Among the crew members are miners, a teenager, an antiques dealer. Riddick escapes. To then return. Return in order to fight side by side with a common enemy: various monsters - the inhabitants of this planet. Creatures that are sensitive in the dark. And on the surface just planned eclipse ...
In general, how to say it ... the film is such that it stretches after the hero's coolness. Yes, he is very entertaining. He is handsome in terms of graphic images. But the rest is a passing action with a fantastic slant. In all the nooks of the plot, I will not go. Otherwise - the meaning?
Therefore, I, perhaps, will connect to those who find the film quite suitable in order to dilute leisure time.
